Nestled just a short 15-minute drive from NEC, it offers a convenient location without the hefty central hotel prices. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a nice atmosphere. The room I stayed in was warm, with clean bedding and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. Free Wi-Fi in the public areas was a bonus, though I did notice the soundproofing could be better at times. The breakfast experience stood out - a pleasant way to start the day, with tasty options available. The basement restaurant served its purpose well, providing a functional space to unwind. For the price, it's good value, especially since they didn't charge for my dog. While it's a bit basic, it's perfect for a group of friends seeking an affordable night's rest while enjoying a sporting event. The Royal proves to be an economical and practical choice for travelers looking to save without sacrificing too much comfort.
